[Dark] - Crashsiteby *Khan-the-cake-lover

Sorry if this is too dark for you, hopefully the warning in the title was enough since I don't really want to put a mature warning on it since I don't consider this mature.

This started as an idea, went into a sketch and I thought it would stop there but at the time I had started coloring Rainbow Dash I was so happy with it that I had to finish it. And I'm so glad I did because this might be my best one YET.

I'd like to thank

for helping me out after my last Rainbow Dash picture by giving me some tips on how to handle lights and shadows better. So thanks!

I wouldn't say it's mature. It's clear that Dashie has crashed, but her bruises seem minor. A few cuts and bruices, but nothing major.

I wouldn't say that she has minor injuries (though I agree that it isn't a mature picture). She's bleeding from her mouth which probably means a bruised or punctured lung and we have no idea what kind of internal problems she has (internal bleeding, broken bones and such). She probably hasn't been there too long judging by the amount of blood, but now I'm kind of stretching it haha.

I can see your point, but I meant minor visible injuries.

Bones can be broken, lungs punctured etc. and a picture would still stay E-rated as long as no outwards signs were shown of the injury.

Indeed. I too am used to tougher stuff than this. I'm just uncomfortable showing it where people I know can see it. I do want to make a transition towards darker art than this.

I prefer to avoid "really" dark stuff... Which is the stuff that boarders to gore. I can take this no problem. But open wounds, bones sticking out of the skin... No thank you.

I've recently gotten lots of notifications regarding this image (faves and all that). Was that because of the TwiDash group this was added too or did you find it somewhere else? Just curious because this image got a big boost in attention after that.
