(Inspired by the awesome 3D work of :icondjohaal:

Tell me what you think and if you have any tips n' trix to make things better in the future, feel free to tell me.

I have one question my kind sir,

How do you do that ? Do you export Minecraft maps to 3DS Max or something ?

Not really.
Actually what I had to do was to export all the textures (which someone else did for me), then looked up how to place multiple textures on a single "object" in 3DS max which I obviously only had to apply to the dirt blocks since they use the full grass, borders and full dirt.
Then I made more block types and applied the stone texture etc. Then when I had all the blocks I just placed them around in a random fashion that would seem similar to a pattern seen in minecraft. So all of this is made in 3ds max except for the textures.

Okay I see.

...So to let you know, some people are developing a tool called ExportLAB, that will actually export .schematics files into softwares like Cinema4D. You can see some sneak peak here [link] and here [link] (photo) !

The names to remember are IkeKrull and dokMixer.

Perhaps, if you could make blocks small enough that is.
